Job summary

NorthShore University HealthSystem in Naperville, IL seeks a Supervisor, Sterile Processing to lead the SPD team and manage daily sterile processing operations for the OR and nursing units.

The role requires 3+ years in SPD with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity, CBSPD or HSPA certification, and a commitment to obtaining endoscope reprocessing certification within 6 months. SHifts are 7:00am-3:30pm.

Hourly Pay Range

$26.61 - $39.92 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

• Position: Supervisor, Sterile Processing
• Location: Naperville, IL
• Full Time/Part Time: 40 hours per week
• Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm

What you will need

• Education: High school Diploma or GED required, College Degree Preferred.
• Certification: Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) or Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) required. Obtain Certified Endoscope Reprocessing Certification within 6 months of accepting position.
• Experience: Three years in SPD with at least one year supervisory experience. Minimum five years total SPD experience.

• Maintain and provide an adequate supply of sterilized products for the OR, nursing units, and other departments.
• Oversee and evaluate the performance of all support positions in the department.
