Hours: M - F 5:30am - 1:00pm OR Sunday - Thursday, 9:00am - 6:30pm
Job Description
The Supervisor of Sterile Processing is responsible for coordinating and facilitating assigned shift operations and services provided to our customers. The Supervisor assists with coordination and oversight of work and work assignments for staff processing, distributing sterile materials, and/or Case Cart. They oversee quality control in the sterile processing department, including diagnosing and troubleshooting technical problems and managing surgical instruments. The Supervisor demonstrates Jefferson's leadership philosophy, leads staff, and assists the department manager with human resources functions such as staff planning, team building, and performance management to foster excellence and teamwork. They maintain high internal visibility in supervising the department and are responsible for staff training and development. Responsibilities also include interviewing job applicants, managing direct reports, completing annual performance appraisals, and handling disciplinary actions as appropriate.
