Job summary

Dayton Children's on Main Campus is seeking a Central Sterile Supply Technician to clean, reprocess, sterilize, and distribute instruments and instrument sets, as well as assemble and distribute case carts for surgery. This role partners with the Surgery department to ensure patient care equipment is sterile and available.

The position supports infection prevention programs and collaborates across units; hours are 3p-11:30p, Monday through Friday, with a full-time schedule and on-site work at

Qualifications

• Education: HSD/GED is required.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Certification/Licensure: CRCST or CSPDT is required

Responsibilities

• Clean, reprocess, sterilize and distribute instruments and instrument sets.
• Assemble and distribute case carts for surgery.
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization and biological tests.
• Deliver carts to the staging room in surgery.
