Qualifications

• Certificate in sterile processing or supply training required.
• Minimum 3 years of recent SPD experience with instrument decontamination, assembly and sterilization.
• Experience operating washer-disinfectors, sterilizers, ultrasonic cleaners, and endoscope reprocessors.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, assemble and sterilize surgical instruments across specialties (general, robotics, neurosurgery, plastics, urology, ophthalmology, ENT, OB/GYN, OMFS, vascular, ortho).
• Prepare instrumentation for surgery and manage sterile supplies with appropriate sterilization methods.
• Track instruments using computer-based logs and keep records for all sterilization steps.
