Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Central Sterile Technician to perform sterile processing, decontamination, assembly and sterilization of instruments in a fast-paced hospital setting. The role requires knowledge of IFUs, regulatory standards, and strong attention to detail.

Night shifts may apply, with onsite work at our facilities. The candidate should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, and CRCST or CSPDT certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of sterile processing principles, instrumentation, sterilization methods, and infection prevention standards.
• Proficiency in instrument assembly, packaging, sterilization, and equipment handling.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures, quality standards, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Performs decontamination, inspection, assembly, packaging, sterilization, storage, and distribution of reusable medical devices and surgical instrumentation.
• Operates sterilization equipment, following departmental policies and regulatory requirements.
• Inspects instruments and equipment for cleanliness, functionality, and completeness.
