Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Quality Review Sterile Processing Tech for the Elmhurst, IL location. This mid-shift role runs Monday–Friday, 12:00 noon–8:30 pm, with possible travel to other Endeavor Health sites. The position is full-time and includes a $5k bonus.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with industry standards, coordinating staff education, maintaining instrument sets and counts, and providing data-driven improvement recommendations. CSPDT or CRCST certification is required.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Certification CSPDT or CRCST from CBSPD/HSPA required.
• 2 years' experience in sterile processing or related environment; project management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures daily operational compliance with Joint Commission, OSHA, AORN, AAMI and local/state standards.
• Coordinates staff education, training and orientation via one-on-ones, huddles and meetings.
• Maintains instrument trays/sets, instruments and supplies inventory and implementation.
• Collaborates to maintain accurate instrument count sheets and revisions as needed.
• Analyzes reported data and makes recommendations for improvement.
• Identifies staff educational needs and develops programs.
