Formación

• CRCST or CBSPD certification is required.
• Minimum of two years' experience in Sterile Processing, Surgical Services, or instrument management.
• CIS certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform quality audits of instrument trays and sets for cleanliness, functionality, and readiness.
• Review sterilization records and QA documentation for compliance with standards.
• Maintain computerized quality tracking systems and audit records.
• Manage inventory of surgical instruments and backup supplies.
• Coordinate instrument repairs, preventive maintenance, refurbishment, and replacement with vendors.
• Maintain instrument tracking systems, set lineups, and reference guides.
• Serve as SME for SPD staff, Surgical Services, physicians, and vendors on instrumentation issues.
• Assist with troubleshooting instrument-related concerns and corrective actions.
• Support staff education and continuous quality improvement initiatives through audits.
