Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related healthcare field required.
• Minimum of two years of demonstrated experience in sterile processing.
• CRCST or CBSPD certification required upon hire.
• CIS and CHL certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily SPD operations, ensuring safe and efficient reprocessing of instruments and equipment.
• Oversee decontamination, assembly, sterilization, tracking, and maintenance of surgical instrumentation.
• Ensure adequate supplies and equipment to support procedures and compliance with standards.
• Manage departmental budgets and staff development, promoting quality improvement.
• Collaborate with Surgical Services, OR personnel, vendors, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely instrument availability.
