Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required at hire.

• Strong emphasis on infection control and patient safety.
• Role entails handling sterilization equipment and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots equipment within Department
• Prepare work area at beginning of shift
• Maintains a clean and safe work area at all times; participates in routine cleaning
• Transports and decontaminates soiled instrumentation and equipment
• Maintains customer focus by responding to calls and emergency requests
• Assembles and packages instrumentation for sterilization; inspects and lubricates instruments as needed
