Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires minimum of 5 years professional experience in sterile processing with Associates degree.
• Minimum of 9 years of professional experience in sterile processing without college degree.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years’ supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage all processes for cleaning, assembly and sterilization of surgical instrumentation and related equipment.
• Maintain inventory of instruments and equipment and oversee use and handling.
• Review PM contracts and maintain PM schedules for SP equipment to meet organizational needs.
• Provide case picking education and training for SP staff; coordinate instrument transport across JHM entities.
• Lead recruitment, provide staff development pathways, and collaborate on training programs with regulatory teams.
• Develop measurement tools to monitor quality and productivity; ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
