Qualifications

• Requires 5 years of sterile processing with an associate degree.
• 9 years of sterile processing without a college degree.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage cleaning, assembly and sterilization of surgical instruments and sets.
• Coordinate storage and transport of instruments across JHM entities.
• Maintain instrument/equipment inventory and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Provide training for SP staff and CSP students; lead development pathways.
• Develop training programs with regulatory oversight and QA measures.
• Ensure compliance with AAMI, AORN, Joint Commission standards; participate in surveys.
