United Surgical Partners International (USPI) OrthoArizona Surgery Center in Gilbert, AZ, is seeking a Sterile Processing Manager for a fast-paced ASC environment. The role focuses on decontamination, sterilization, staff supervision, and coordination with OR teams to ensure timely instrument availability.

The position emphasizes maintaining biological monitoring records, staff development, and adherence to infection control standards in line with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of Sterile Processing experience required.
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program preferred.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.

Responsibilities

• Interviewing and participating in the hiring process.
• Training of new employees.
• In-servicing employees on new equipment or changes in best practice.
• Maintaining records of in-services and staff meetings.
• Overseeing records for sterilization and biological monitoring.
• Ordering supplies and maintaining vendor contacts.
• Ensuring routine maintenance of autoclave equipment.
• Participating in Quality Improvement and Infection Control activities.
