Job summary

Baptist Health Arkansas in Little Rock is seeking a Sterile Processing Manager to lead the Sterile Processing Department in a day shift, coordinating with OR leadership to ensure timely instrument availability and cost-effective operations.

You will oversee staff productivity, ensure regulatory compliance for instrument cleaning, processing, and storage, and advance documentation accuracy while maintaining strong working relationships with OR and surgical teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years clinical experience in the operating room setting or Sterile Processing department.
• Preferred clinical experience level of 8 years or greater.
• Certification in instrument processing required within the first 90 days of employment.
• Graduate from Accredited Scrub Tech program, college preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledgeable in surgical instrumentation.
• Computer skills to include EPIC, Microsoft, PowerPoint, Instrument Tracking Software.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate and cost effective Sterile Processing Department documentation.
• Ensures regulatory requirements are met regarding cleaning, processing, and storage of instruments.
• Manages employees productivity levels and ensures instrumentation is available for all cases.
• Collaborates with OR leadership to maintain relationships with sterile processing, OR, and surgeons.
