Job summary

Tampa General Hospital is seeking a Manager for Sterile Processing to lead 24/7 operations at the TGH Main Campus in Tampa, FL. The role supervises staff, ensures workflow continuity, and maintains high productivity and safety standards across the sterile processing, high level disinfection, and case cart areas.

Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, CRCST/CIS/CHL certification, and at least five years in processing with two years in a supervisory role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have CRCST, CIS, or CHL.
• Five (5) years of processing experience with at least two (2) years in a supervisory/leadership role.
• Demonstrates supervisory skills including prioritizing workloads in multiple settings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Sterile Processing staff and ensure 24-hour workflow continuity.
• Schedule, assign, and evaluate performance of team members.
• Maintain safety and compliance in the work environment.
• Attend mandatory training and certifications as required.
