Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking an SPD Manager for the Meyer Sterile Processing department in Springfield, MO. This role oversees daily operations, drives quality and cost efficiency, and ensures regulatory compliance in sterile processing.

The position requires a High School Diploma (Associate's preferred), 3 years SPD experience, and at least 1 year of leadership experience. CRCST/CBSPD with CHL must be obtained within 2 years of hire.

Job Description:

The SPD Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the Sterile Processing Department, ensuring efficient, high-quality, and cost effective services for all areas requiring sterile processing support.

Education:

• Required: High School Diploma
• Preferred: Associate's Degree

Experience:

• Required: 3 years of SPD experience
• Required: 1 year of leadership experience

Skills:

• Proven experience in Sterile Processing operations
• Strong leadership and problem solving skills
• Knowledgeable in regulatory aspects impacting SPD to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and standards.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate with staff, outside departments, and leadership teams while maintaining the hospital’s mission, vision, and values.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• Required: CRCST or CBSPD with CHL must be obtained within 2 years of hire
