HCA Houston Healthcare Medical Center is seeking a Certified Lead Sterile Processing Technician to ensure instruments are cleaned, sterilized and ready for procedures. You will lead the SPD team and collaborate with surgical staff to uphold safety and efficiency.

Formación

• 3 years of SPD experience required.
• High School Graduate / GED
• CRCST Certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Clean, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and trays to ensure readiness for patient care.
• Operate and maintain sterilization equipment, with detailed records of cycles and safety checks.
• Prepare surgical sets and case carts by reviewing daily schedules and gathering instruments for each procedure.
• Manage inventory and organize supplies in OR storage, coordinating with the surgical team to keep surgeries on time.
• Lead and train the Sterile Processing team, share updates on equipment and processes, and promote a safe, high-quality environment.
