Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System seeks a Sterile Processing and Distribution Manager to oversee daily operations in the Pembroke Pines facility. You will coordinate clinical equipment needs, schedules, and staff to ensure high-quality processing and distribution of sterile supplies, with emphasis on regulatory compliance and vendor management.

The role requires leadership capability and experience in sterile processing, with multiple certifications listed in the education requirements.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in sterile processing and distribution with leadership experience.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required).
• Must hold CPSDT or other HSPA certifications listed (CSPDM, CSPDT, CSPM, CRCST, CHL, CST, CIS, CER, CCSV P).

Responsibilities

• Assists with developing departmental goals, standards, and objectives supporting the organization’s strategic plan.
• Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts and vendor relations.
• Determines needs for systems/equipment purchases, monitors usage, and oversees stock supplies.
• Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction and conflict management.
• Performs scheduling, recruitment, and payroll.
• Assesses the quality of services delivered.
• Works with clinical areas to meet requirements for medical equipment and supplies.
