Job summary

You will troubleshoot software, track instruments, and collaborate with Surgical Services and other units to ensure timely availability of sterile instrumentation. Responsibilities include maintaining instrument tracking software, managing loaned/consigned instrumentation with vendors, and training staff on IFU sterilization parameters and updates.

Qualifications

• Surgical instrumentation knowledge is required.
• Ability to multitask with interruptions.
• Proficient computer skills including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manages development and maintenance of Instrument Tracking software and repairs downtime.
• Manages ingress/egress of loaned/consigned instrumentation with vendors and staff.
• Trains staff on IFU sterilization parameters and cleaning processes.
• Develops policies for care, handling and transport of instrumentation.
• Supports front line staff using Instrument Tracking software.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
