Job summary

Evara Health Institute in St. Petersburg, FL, seeks an Instructor for the Sterile Processing Program to train the next generation of technicians. The role focuses on applying innovative teaching methods, designing course materials, and guiding students through hands-on practice in sterile processing.

Experience: CRCST diploma and at least three years of clinical Sterile Processing Technician work are required; Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm; Level 2 background screen is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from CRCST program in Sterile Processing with a diploma.
• Minimum of three years of occupational/clinical experience as a Sterile Processing Technician.

Responsibilities

• Designs and delivers instructional materials, lesson plans, and assessments aligned with program objectives.
• Conducts engaging lectures, demonstrations, and simulations to teach sterile processing concepts.
• Oversees laboratory activities and clinical skill demonstrations for hands-on learning.
• Coordinates student clinical experiences and maintains relationships with clinical partners.
• Assesses student performance and provides constructive feedback for professional development.
• Maintains records of attendance, grades, and progress; supports accreditation processes.
