Job summary

Evara Health Institute is seeking an Instructor for Sterile Processing to join our St. Petersburg, FL team. This full-time role involves delivering engaging lectures, developing materials, and coordinating clinical experiences to meet program objectives.

Ideal candidates hold CRCST certification with at least 3 years of hands-on sterile processing experience, and a commitment to inclusive, student-centered teaching. Typical schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm on-site.

Qualifications

• Graduate from CRCST program in Sterile Processing with diploma.
• Minimum of 3 years of occupational/clinical experience as a Sterile Processing Technician.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures and demonstrations on sterile processing concepts.
• Design and develop instructional materials, lesson plans, and assessments.
• Foster an inclusive learning environment encouraging questions and active participation.
• Conduct lectures, demonstrations, and presentations using diverse teaching methods.
• Oversee laboratory activities and provide feedback to enhance clinical proficiency.
• Coordinate clinical experiences and maintain relationships with clinical partners.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback for development.
• Offer academic mentorship and career guidance to students.
• Stay updated on healthcare regulations and pedagogical trends and incorporate them into teaching.
