Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking a Professional Educator to lead learning and development across disciplines. This role acts as subject matter expert, coach, and consultant, designing programs using ADDIE, evaluating impact, and aligning with system goals.

As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will mentor staff, partner with academic resources, and ensure competency, regulatory compliance, and quality care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in sterile processing required.
• Previous experience in educator role strongly preferred.
• All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
• CRCST strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Leads learning need assessments on a regular basis to inform design, development, implementation and evaluation of learning activities.
• Creates learning programs to support change in a process, policy, or practice to improve care.
• Utilizes adult learning theory as a framework for best practice learning activities and ensures competency after learning initiatives.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure learning activities include all disciplines where appropriate.
• Participates in change management to sustain practice improvements.
