Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Professional Educator to lead learning in an interdisciplinary environment. The role acts as a subject matter expert, coach, change agent, researcher, and consultant to oversee learning and development needs, using ADDIE to analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate educational activities.

This position supports system goals and collaborates across facilities to ensure sustainable practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s in a related field preferred.
• All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
• CRCST strongly preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in sterile processing required.

Responsibilities

• Leads learning need assessments on a regular basis to inform design, development, implementation and evaluation of learning activities or programs.
• Creates learning programs to support change in a process, policy, or practice with the goal of improving care.
• Utilizes adult learning theory as a framework for the creation of best practice learning activities and ensures competency after learning initiatives.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure learning activities are inclusive of all disciplines when appropriate.
• Participates in change management to sustain practice and behavior change and support system goals.
