Job summary

Geisinger is seeking an education-focused professional to coordinate the orientation of new equipment products and procedures, and to develop system educational programs on decontamination, disinfection and sterilization across clinics and inpatient units.

The role collaborates with department managers and preceptors, schedules training, tracks progress, and supports staff development through workshops, computer-based programs, articles and videos to ensure consistent practice and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating education and training for staff and new equipment.
• Ability to develop and deliver decontamination, disinfection, sterilization education.
• Proven collaboration with department managers and preceptors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate orientation for orientee and preceptor; monitor progress and identify educational needs.
• Develop and provide system educational programs on decontamination, disinfection and sterilization methods.
• Assist with staff education on new equipment, instrumentation, procedures and handling emergencies.
• Create and distribute system documentation; produce reports and coordinate system upgrades.
