Job summary

MaineGeneral Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to clean and decontaminate surgical instruments and patient care equipment, ensuring readiness for procedures and offsite needs.

You will follow procedures, collaborate with staff to meet daily and urgent surgical needs, and maintain sterilization equipment and records in a busy healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Certification as CRCST or CSPDT required within two years of hire
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to infection control standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Prior experience in sterile processing or related healthcare support preferred

Compensation Information:

$15.78 - $29.51

The hourly pay range shown represents the base pay range for this position. Individual pay is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and market considerations. In addition to base pay, eligible team members may earn additional compensation through shift, weekend, holiday, on-call, and other applicable differentials.
