Job summary

Olmsted Medical Center is seeking a PRN Sterilization Technician for day and variable shifts. The role supports the OR by processing and sterilizing instruments, maintaining strict aseptic techniques, and ensuring readiness of equipment for procedures.

You will lift and move instrument pans, follow IFU guidelines, and work as part of a professional, confidential team. Experience with surgical instrument handling and sterilization processes is preferred, and strong communication and teamwork are

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology and experience and knowledge in surgical instrument handling and processing preferred.
• Knowledge and/or experience of instrumentation decontamination including sorting, disassembly/reassembly, manual and mechanical cleaning, microbicidal processes, equipment operation, and standard/transmission-based precautions preferred.
• Ability to read/articulate manufacturer’s instructions for use (IFU)

Starting wage: $20.40 - $29.12 (based on experience)
