Job summary

Northern Montana Hospital in Havre, MT is seeking a Sterile Processing Coordinator to oversee the SPD's daily operations. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in healthcare or related field preferred.
• Minimum three to five years of sterile processing experience preferred.
• Previous lead technician, coordinator, or advanced sterile processing experience preferred.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or CSPDT preferred and required within 1 year of hire.
• Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS) and Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily operations of the Sterile Processing Department to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant processing of reusable medical devices and instrumentation.
• Provide operational oversight, staff support, quality monitoring, regulatory compliance coordination, and workflow management.
• Ensure instrument availability for surgical and procedural services.
• Collaborate with operating room staff, surgeons, Infection Prevention, Materials Management, and other clinical departments.
