Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center is seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Technician to join a fast-paced surgical support team. You will receive, fill, and deliver supply orders, process and sterilize instrument trays, clean and inspect patient equipment, and prepare case carts.

Requirements include graduation from an approved Sterile Processing Technician program, certification by IAHCSMM or CBSPD, and about 2 years of direct instrumentation experience.

The Certified Sterile Processing Tech receive, fill and deliver supply orders, processes and sterilizes instrument trays. Cleans and inspects patient equipment, gathers instruments and supplies for surgical case carts. Operates equipment as well as some computer systems, inventories and restocks departmental supplies and special carts.
