Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center is seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Technician to support a fast-paced surgical services team. You will receive, fill, sterilize, and deliver instrument trays, ensuring readiness for procedures while maintaining strict infection control standards.

Requirements include completion of an approved Sterile Processing Technician program, IAHCSMM or CBSPD certification, and at least 2 years of instrumentation experience.

Qualifications

The Certified Sterile Processing Tech receive, fill and deliver supply orders, processes and sterilizes instrument trays. Cleans and inspects patient equipment, gathers instruments and supplies for surgical case carts. Operates equipment as well as some computer systems, inventories and restocks departmental supplies and special carts.
