The Sterile Processing team is seeking a dependable and motivated Sterile Processing Assistant to help support the essential work of cleaning, organizing, and maintaining medical instrumentation used throughout the hospital.
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active, working in a fast-paced environment, and having a consistent weekday schedule. You'll play an important behind-the-scenes role in supporting patient care while working with a friendly and welcoming team.
As a Sterile Processing Assistant, you will perform routine, non-technical support duties that help keep the department operating efficiently. Responsibilities include:
Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent.
Experience: No experience required.
Licensure: None required.
Job requires frequently bending/stooping and driving (Home Health Aide only). Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 - 50lbs and > 100lbs (Home Health Aide only). May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
The pay range for this role is $15.37 - $23.82 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
