Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System in Pembroke Pines, FL, is seeking a Sterile Processing and Distribution Manager to assist in daily operations and drive department goals. The role emphasizes staff development, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years in sterile processing with leadership experience; relevant certifications are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required).
• Certified Central Service Vendor Partner (CCSVP) and related HSPA certifications listed in the posting.
• Two (2) years of experience in sterile processing and distribution with leadership experience.
• Associate's degree in a related field preferred or enrolled in an Associate's degree program.

Summary

Assists in managing the daily operations of the Sterile Processing and Distribution area.

Responsibilities

Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization. Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies. Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, recruitment, and payroll. Assesses the quality of services delivered. Works closely with clinical areas to determine and meet their requirements for medical equipment and supplies.
