Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing professional to coordinate activities and flow for the Sterile Processing and Distribution area. This role operates on a night shift (11 pm to 7:30 am) with weekend rotations and on-call responsibilities.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or Equivalent and at least 1 year of relevant work experience, with strong attention to safety, hand hygiene, and teamwork in a high-pressure healthcare environment.

Summary

Coordinates activities and flow of work for the Sterile Processing and Distribution area.
** Monday - Friday; 11 pm to 7:30 pm; rotation on weekends and taking Calls **

Responsibilities

Serves as a resource to staff regarding departmental/area policies, procedures and services regarding decontamination and processing of medical products.Prioritizes multiple tasks and projects to ensure timely completion. Delegates and assigns work commensurate with knowledge, skill and experience, and ensures the work is performed appropriately.Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to assist with problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, and systems/performance measures.
