Job summary

Mass General Brigham is launching a Sterile Processing Apprentice program at Mass General Hospital (55 Fruit Street) and Brigham and Women's Hospital (75 Francis Street) in Boston. You’ll learn a specialized healthcare role while being paid to train.

As an apprentice, you’ll earn $22 per hour with classroom instruction and hands-on, on-the-job training in sterilization, inspection, and preparation of instruments for patient care. No prior experience is required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred but not required.
• No prior healthcare experience required; training provided.
• On-the-job training plus classroom instruction will prepare you for CRCST certification.

Responsibilities

• Learn fundamentals of sterile processing and infection prevention.
• Assist in decontamination, cleaning, inspecting, assembling, and sterilizing instruments.
• Maintain accurate records and support a fast-paced, team-based workflow.
