Children's Mercy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II‑Sterile Preparations to assist in preparing and distributing medications with focus on sterile products. Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent and 6+ months experience in a pharmacy setting as a pharmacy technician preparing sterile products.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician – MO, KS licensure or registration required within 90 days of hire.
• MO KS registrations or equivalent validation prior to hire, with license obtained within 90 days for primary work location.

Responsibilities

• Procures and distributes medication orders per physician request or prearranged work assignment according to policies.
• Contributes to the effective operation of the department.
• Maintains adequate stock of medications and supplies according to policies and procedures.
