Job summary

Revelation Pharma in Austin, TX is seeking a Compounding Technician to prepare all components for drug production in a clean-room environment. The role includes compounding sterile and non-sterile products and filling patient orders under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, maintaining inventory, labeling, and ensuring potency, purity, and sterility. The position requires attention to detail, compliance with safety data sheets, and daily cleaning

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Strong aseptic technique and hand-eye coordination.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under time and volume constraints.

Responsibilities

• Follow applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Handle hormones and other potentially hazardous chemicals as used in non-sterile compounding.
• Prepare non-sterile compounds (capsules, liquids, topicals, nasal preparations, suppositories, troches, tablets).
• Assist with sterile to sterile transfers, packaging, and labeling of drugs; maintain accuracy, potency, and sterility.
• Perform compounding, fill and label prescriptions, and pre-package bulk medications.
• Monitor inventory levels, receive new stock, maintain MSDS and Certificates of Analysis.
• Clean and disinfect the work environment daily, weekly, and monthly as required.
• Work under pharmacist supervision; participate in competency evaluations.
