Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; pharmacy tech training preferred.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician certification is a plus.
• Minimum two years in sterile compounding, preferably in a pharmacy or healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in aseptic techniques and sterile compounding procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation and documentation.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and USP 797 standards.
• Effective communication and collaboration with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Sterile compounding: prepare IV meds per protocols with proper labeling and documentation.
• Quality assurance: perform inspections and aseptic checks to ensure sterility and accuracy.
• Inventory monitoring: track inventory levels and assist in ordering; record expirations.
