Requires MA Pharmacy Technician license, national certification (PTCB or NHA ExCPT), and a high school diploma. Training provided for cGMP and aseptic processing; standard schedule 8am-4:30pm weekdays, every other weekend; pay $27.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician License issued by MA Board of Pharmacy is required.
• National Pharmacy Certification through PTCB or NHA ExCPT is required.
• High school diploma/G.E.D or equivalent required.
• cGMP training/experience desired; training will be provided.
• Aseptic processing training/experience desired; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to all CAPS policies and procedures.
• Prepares compounded sterile products using aseptic technique.
• Assists in the setup of the compounding room, equipment, and supplies for preparation of compounded sterile solutions, using aseptic technique.
• Performs general cleaning and maintenance duties as directed.
• Participates in cleanroom product introduction activities.
• Prepares records and monitors results for pharmaceutical quality assurance testing.
