Job summary

CAPS, part of the B. Braun Group in the U.S., is the nation’s largest network of outsourcing admixture pharmacies and offers a comprehensive benefits package. A Pharmacy Technician is needed to prepare sterile IV medications in a 503A setting under supervision, with a 4x10 schedule from 7:30am to 6pm and pay at $30.90/hr plus benefits.

Required: Washington Pharmacy Technician license; preferred PTCB/NHA ExCPT; HS diploma or GED; cgmp and aseptic training provided. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Washington Pharmacy Technician license required.
• PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• CGMP training and aseptic processing training desired.
• Aseptic processing experience desired; training provided.
• Shift: 4x10 hour days, 7:30am–6pm, Mon–Sun with alternating weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepares sterile compounded products using aseptic technique.
• Sets up compounding room, equipment and supplies.
• Performs general cleaning and maintenance of the area.
• Supports cleanroom product introduction activities.
• Maintains records for pharmaceutical quality assurance testing.
