CAPS, part of the B. Braun Group in the U.S., seeks a Pharmacy Technician to assist in sterile IV preparation under a licensed pharmacist in a 503A setting in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities include aseptic prep, room setup, cleaning, and QA record-keeping; requires DC pharmacy tech licensure and preferred national certification. Schedule is 4x10 hour shifts starting at 7:30am, with weekends and overtime as needed.

Qualificações

• REQUIRED: Pharmacy Technician License issued by the Washington Board of Pharmacy.
• PREFERRED: National Pharmacy Certification (PTCB or NHA ExCPT).
• cgmp training/experience and aseptic processing training/experience desired.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares compounded sterile products using aseptic technique.
• Assists in setup of the compounding room, equipment and supplies for preparation of compounded sterile solutions.
• Performs general cleaning and maintenance of work areas as directed.
• Participates in cleanroom product introduction activities.
• Prepares records and monitors results for pharmaceutical quality assurance testing.
