Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant experience required.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Certification within 6 months of hire if not already obtained.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, sterilize, install, assemble and/or clean all clinic or healthcare equipment required for surgeries, examinations, and medical procedures.
• Ensure sterilized, appropriately functioning medical supplies and instrumentation are packaged and delivered to the point of use aseptically.
• Serve as a clinical liaison between the Operating Rooms and the CSS offsite location to track and allocate sterilized instrumentation across the Enterprise.
• Procure and standardize instrument trays across the Enterprise.
• Utilize 24/7 across multiple reprocessing sites including Ross Heart Hospital, University Hospital, James Cancer Hospital, Same Day Surgery, University Hospital East and ambulatory sites.
