Qualifications
At least 2 years’ experience as a Pharmacy Technician required.
6 months experience in hazardous sterile compounding.
State of Connecticut Pharmacy Technician license required.
Responsibilities
Prepare hazardous and non-hazardous sterile drug products.
Maintain accurate records of products prepared.
Assist Pharmacist in filling patient specific medication orders.
Skills
Understanding of governing policies (USP <795>, <797>, and <800>)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Education
High School Diploma or GED
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare related field
