Job summary

WuXi Chemistry is seeking a Senior Filling Manager to lead daily operations of sterile filling lines, ensuring safe, compliant manufacturing and readiness for startup, commissioning, qualification, process validation, and routine GMP production.

You will build and manage a high-performing filling team, develop procedures and batch records, and partner with Engineering, QA, and Validation to drive continuous improvement and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years in pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturing with sterile filling experience.
• Experience leading, hiring, and training GMP manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation of sterile filling lines ensuring safety and cGMP compliance.
• Develop production schedules and coordinate staffing for startup, qualification, and routine manufacturing.
• Support SOPs, batch records, and GMP documentation across the site.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, Validation, and Quality to ensure readiness.
• Recruit, hire, coach, and develop filling operations staff for long-term capability.
