Job summary

Alcami is seeking a Manufacturing Technician II to support sterile liquid manufacturing, including compounding, filling, and finish operations for vial and syringe configurations. You will work in aseptic isolator environments and ensure GMP/cGMP compliance with SOPs and batch records.

The role emphasizes learning, SME development, and rigorous documentation within a fast-paced setting. On-site, with a 12-hour day shift (2-2-3) schedule and potential weekend hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1-2 years’ work experience required; 2-5 years preferred.
• Prior work experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment required.
• Previous experience in dispensing, compounding, aseptic filling, or visual inspection highly desirable.
• Candidates with life sciences or engineering degrees will be considered without manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Learns and executes manufacturing operations including setup, operation, and maintenance of equipment used in dispensing, compounding, filling (isolators), and visual inspection.
• Becomes a subject matter expert on compounding/filling processes and equipment.
• Performs production processes with adherence to SOPs, batch records, quality standards, and minimal deviations.
• Conducts in-process and end-of-process sampling/quality checks.
• Identifies inefficiencies and escalates to supervision for continuous improvement.
• Maintains accurate production documentation with minimal errors.
