Job summary

The Pharmacy Hub in Miami Gardens is hiring a Sterile Compounding Technician to prepare sterile and hazardous medications under supervision, following USP standards and state regulations. This full-time, on-site role requires meticulous aseptic technique in a controlled cleanroom environment.

Ideal candidates hold a CPhT, active state registration, and 1–2 years of sterile compounding experience in hospital or 503A/503B settings. The position offers competitive pay and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have USP standards knowledge and garbing competency.
• Active CPhT license and registration in good standing.
• 1–2 years sterile compounding experience in hospital or 503A/503B.
• Experience with drug handling, PPE selection, and spill-response procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate calculation skills.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom with full PPE for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile compounded preparations using aseptic technique in ISO-classified cleanrooms.
• Select and wear proper PPE and follow spill-management procedures.
• Garbing, hand hygiene, and disinfection before each batch.
• Accurately measure, mix, and prepare compounds per physician orders and records.
• Perform quality checks prior to pharmacist final verification.
• Maintain compounding logs, batch records and BUD documentation.
• Monitor cleanroom environmental conditions and equipment certifications.
• Manage inventory of sterile supplies and ensure proper storage and disposal.
