Job summary

JobRx, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician for its compounding lab in Austin, Texas. You will prepare safe medications and assist in inventory management, maintaining compliance with various regulations and standards.

Qualifications

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or ExCPT); sterile certification preferred.
• Sterile compounding experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compound sterile and non-sterile medications according to prescriptions.
• Prepare, package, and label compounded medications.
• Perform pharmaceutical calculations and formula preparation.
• Assist with bulk compound production.
• Maintain cleaning standards and documentation.
• Manage inventory and medication stock levels.
• Process prescriptions and pharmacy documentation.
• Communicate with patients and healthcare facilities.
• Assist with onboarding new team members.
• Maintain compliance with regulations.

Skills

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Experience with pharmacy software and Microsoft Office

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Bachelor's degree preferred
