Job summary

AnazaoHealth is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications. The role includes preparing IV compounds or other medications, counting stock, and maintaining inventory accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include handling PHI securely under HIPAA, assisting with new product testing, and completing orientation and competency training for staff. The position requires standing for long periods and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to operate a computer.
• Active Pharmacy Technician License; state registration required.
• Pass Texas certification test and a visual competency.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacist to prepare and dispense medication.
• Prepare IV compounds or other medications.
• Mix pharma preparations and fill bottles with prescribed tablets/capsules.
• Store incoming supplies and maintain inventory records.
• Clean hoods/equipment and sterilize glassware per method.
• Ensure PHI security per HIPAA requirements.
• Assist in testing/presenting new products with sales/marketing.
• Complete orientation, training, and competency evaluation of staff.
• Remove jewelry, makeup, nails during cleaning.
