Job summary

Access Healthcare Staffing & Recruitment is seeking a meticulous Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician for our Summerlin location. You will prepare sterile medications under pharmacist supervision, maintain cleanroom standards, and support the pharmacy team in delivering safe patient care.

The ideal candidate has attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active Nevada Pharmacy Technician license and registration in good standing.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or ExCPT) preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Experience with sterile compounding preferred; training available.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile medications under pharmacist supervision per USP <797> and policies.
• Maintain aseptic technique and proper garbing and hand hygiene.
• Work in cleanroom and anteroom while following sterility and safety protocols.
• Calculate, measure, and compound medications per prescriptions.
• Maintain compounding logs and batch records for QA and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with inventory management and prepare medications for dispensing.
• Communicate with pharmacists and team about workflow and patient needs.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and state regulations.
