Job summary

Patient Care Infusion LLC in Tempe, AZ is hiring an experienced Compounding Pharmacy Technician for our infusion pharmacy, focusing on sterile compounding for home infusion and specialty pharmacy patients.

You will work under pharmacist supervision, adhering to USP 797/800, manage hazardous drugs with CSTDs, maintain cleanroom standards, and ensure accurate records, labels, and timely medication delivery to patients.

Qualifications

• Active Arizona Pharmacy Technician License is required.
• Previous pharmacy technician experience is required.
• Experience with sterile and 797/800-compliant cleanroom is required.
• Strong attention to detail and aseptic technique are essential.
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs and move between stations.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounded medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Perform aseptic technique for IV admixtures and other sterile products.
• Handle hazardous drugs using CSTDs and PPE.
• Conduct quality control checks and apply beyond-use dates (BUDs).
• Maintain ISO-classified cleanroom through gowning and cleaning procedures.
• Prepare labels and maintain compounding records and batch logs.
• Support inventory for bulk substances and CS under supervision.
• Coordinate with nursing, intake, and delivery teams to ensure on-time delivery.
