Penn Medicine is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to prepare sterile medications and support the infusion therapy department. Under supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, you will ensure aseptic processing, accurate calculation of meds, and adherence to USP 797/800 guidelines.

Responsibilities include coordinating with pharmacists for checks and delivery, reviewing labels, and maintaining readiness of supplies. Pennsylvania-licensed technicians with PA license eligibility are preferred.

Formación

• Ability to use technical judgment in performing repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
• Desire to work within sterile product preparation and USP guidelines.
• Collaborates with Pharmacists to ensure accurate medication preparation.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare sterile compounds following guidelines and maintain aseptic areas.
• Accurately calculate medication quantities and supplies.
• Adhere to USP797/USP 800 for sterile product prep and documentation.
• Provide timely communications to Pharmacists for checks and delivery.
• Review labels to determine products and delivery times.
• Maintain inventory and restock as needed.
