Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Akron General is seeking a Pharmacy Technician - Sterile Compounding, PRN to support sterile IV medication compounding and related pharmacy operations at Akron General.

You will assist pharmacists, perform sterile compounding in compliance with USP regulations, and participate in maintaining a safe, efficient sterile compounding suite within the Akron General Pharmacy.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Completion of a pharmacy technician training program including USP sterile compounding competencies.
Ohio Board of Pharmacy Certified Pharmacy Technician or eligible.

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists in filling inpatient orders and stocking inventory.
Perform sterile compounding according to USP795/USP797 regulations.
Prepare, deliver, and collect pharmacy items throughout the facility.
Re-stock automated dispensing cabinets and perform unit reviews.
