Beth Israel Lahey Health in Exeter, NH seeks a Pharmacy Technician I to support daily operations under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist, including sterile compounding and documentation.

Responsibilities include performing duties across shifts, maintaining PEC/SEC cleanliness, and assisting with orientation and training.

Requires NH registration as CPhT, high school diploma, sterile compounding experience or 6 months in the role; influenza vaccination may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• New Hampshire state registration within 30 days of hire is required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with NH registration through PTCB or NHA is required.
• Sterile compounding experience or 6 months as Pharmacy Tech I is required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in all pharmacy roles/shifts and performs duties of Pharmacy Technician I.
• Prepares sterile compounds per USP guidelines.
• Maintains PEC and SEC cleaning and disinfection per USP 797 levels.
• Completes continuing education to maintain sterile compounding registration.
• Manages daily tasks and documentation for sterile compounding of PEC and SEC.
• Maintains accuracy in IV workflow system within defined action levels.
• Assists with orientation and training of new staff.
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
